Tagore Public School, Gudha Gorji, is a Premier English Medium Co-educational Residential-cum-day School affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. This was established in the year 2004 to cater to educational needs and to fill in a long-felt void to provide quality education in Shekhawati region.

The school can be reached by driving along the highway in 30 minutes making TPS easily accessible from district headquarter, Jhunjhunu.

This year the school has put-up upgradation file for Senior Secondary Certificate Exam (Class 12) with Science & Commerce Streams. The school has been built to accommodate 2500 students. The medium of instruction is English and it follows the curriculum of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

In AISSE-2013 Board Conducted Examination- 10 students out of 39 got 10 CGPA and 4 students got 9.8 CGPA. The lowest CGPA remained 6.0.

17 out of 39 students got above 9.0 CGPA.

Subjectwise result analysis:
14 out of 39 students got A1 in English Comm.

20 out of 39 got A1 in Hindi.

12 out of 39 students got A1 in Mathematics.

13 out of 39 students got A1 in Science.

16 out of 39 students got A1 in Social Science.

Five boys from TPS participated in Jumboori at Hydrabad, arranged by Govt. of Rajasthan and Bharat Scout and Guide from 3rd to 9th January, 2011 and got 1st position. Former district collector Mugdha Sinha herself collected the trophy.

Nine students of TPS participated in the Republic Day Parade on 26th January, 2011 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur and these boys were highly applauded by the honourable Chief Minister Sh. Ashok Gehlot.

In 55th District level Kho-Kho Tournament at Kheedarsar, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, the school grabbed 3rd rank.

To ensure ICT accessible to each & every child the school has started a new Senior Computer Laboratory.

To revamp teaching learning methods and to extend the walls of classrooms around the world, The school has started interactive classrooms.
